Booking Confirmation All bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions and become binding once confirmation is received—either verbally or in writing—and when any required deposit has been paid. Once received, deposits are non-refundable except in cases where National Coach Hire Gloucester cannot fulfill the journey.
Cancellation, Suspension, or Alteration of Service National Coach Hire reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or withdraw any booked travel, transport, accommodation, or other services if unable to fulfill the journey for any reason. In such cases, a full refund will be issued for the canceled service, with prior notice provided to the client where possible. If cancellations occur due to vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances, National Coach Hire will make every effort to arrange a suitable alternative. However, National Coach Hire is not responsible for additional costs incurred due to last-minute changes or alternative arrangements.
Refusal of Service National Coach Hire reserves the right to refuse to carry or accommodate any person without providing a reason. Pricing & Charges Charges for all transactions are based on prevailing rates at the time of service and may be altered without notice due to fluctuations in exchange rates or fares. Responsibility for Damage The Hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings, whether intentional or accidental. The Hirer must repay National Coach Hire or the contracted company for repair costs and any losses or downtime resulting from the damage.
National Coach Hire or its contractors may seek reimbursement for costs incurred due to passenger behavior (e.g., diversion of the vehicle). Criminal proceedings may be pursued in serious cases. Liability Disclaimer As a booking agent, National Coach Hire and its subsidiaries are not liable for damage caused by passengers to the vehicle.
The Hirer holds full responsibility for any compensation or charges incurred with the contractor (driver), unless agreed upon in writing beforehand. National Coach Hire will cooperate with both parties to resolve disputes and may request photo evidence.
Route & Journey Adjustments National Coach Hire arranges the journey route unless the Hirer requests specific modifications. If route changes result in increased mileage or time beyond the initial agreement, the Hirer is responsible for extra costs.
Availability of vehicles depends on the date and time of the request. A quote does not guarantee vehicle availability. National Coach Hire reserves the right to cancel and refund bookings if unable to provide the service.
Passenger Safety & Conduct Passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion. National Coach Hire is not liable for losses due to traffic delays or accidents—responsibility remains with the group leader, passengers, and contractor.
Deposit Requirements A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings, except when National Coach Hire is unable to fulfill the journey. In such cases, the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation Fees – 25+ days prior: 25% of total cost – 14-25 days prior: 30% of total cost – 7-14 days prior: 50% of total cost – 48 hours – 7 days prior: 75% of total cost – Less than 48 hours prior: 100% of total cost Refund Process Refunds, minus applicable charges, will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request. No Refunds Once Boarded Once passengers have boarded, National Coach Hire considers the contract fulfilled, and no refunds will be issued.
Additional Services Cancellation If the booking includes additional services (e.g., meals, accommodation, ferry charges), cancellation fees from service providers will be passed on to the Hirer.
No-Show Policy Passengers failing to meet the driver at the designated time and location without prior notice will be charged the full booking cost. A “No Show” includes: – Incorrect booking date or time. – Failure to contact National Coach Hire or the driver within one hour of the scheduled pick-up.
